🚗 Reorganized Locator Alerts / Statuses

We have reorganized some locator statuses. There were drawbacks to the previous method - for instance, a locator might be have the "Position Pending" and "Not Reporting" statuses, but only one would show at a time.

We have added a new "Locator Alerts" column that can show multiple different statuses simultaneously, providing a complete picture of the device's state and health. The status column will now show only some of the more fundamental statuses (Paired, Sold, Available, etc.).

Update position logic to avoid dramatic changes due to cell tower data

Locators use cell tower data to determine positions if gps is unavailable. Often, the cell tower data we receive from the Google API is inaccurate, which can throw the position out of whack temporarily
Solution: If a position reports on a new cell tower a significant distance (>100 miles) away from its previous position request, we now discard that position

Locators in locations with no zones no longer marked as drive-off

Update tag ring logic to queue for gateways under a company, not just location

We have updated our ring command logic to allow commands to be sent through any gateway associated with the key/tag’s company, not just location

Add retries to removing “Lost” from locator - This was causing the mark as found / lost button to misbehave
Offsite vehicles reporting “on-site” with “No Zone” listed under zone - Now marking as Far From Site if a locator is at a location with no zones

🚗 Clickable Aggregations

A new backend update has allowed us to to implement Quick Filters via the Aggregation bars. Any page that has Aggregations set can click directly on the specific total to automatically filter the table below with those conditions.

No longer mark unpaired locators as Suspected Off-Site when owning location has no zones
There was a bug where uploading multiple floor plan overlays for the same floor was not properly showing all floor plans. This has been fixed and all floor plan overlays should now properly show up.

What's New

Vehicle Motion Alerts Improvement

Users can enable motion alerts regardless of the locator state. Before this release, users could only enable this is state 10 & 11.

Consumer Position Requests | Guide

When consumers request a position immediately after buying RecovR, they were getting an error that was difficult to understand. We’ve updated this error to be more intuitive and provide the reasoning behind the delay.

No Assets Empty State

A dealer voids their sale erroneously
A dealer adds the vehicle VIN back to their inventory via the VIN collision flow, de-permissioning a user

The new empty state helps inform the user that this problem can be fixed & provides a pre-filled message to support.

We've added more informative error message when trying to create a new password. Now you'll know what you need to fix to keep your account secure with a strong password or if you made a typo confirming your password (don't worry, it happens to the best of us).

Bug Fixes

Fixed: If you opened the link in your invitation email, you may have had trouble navigating to the correct app. We've fixed this so you can go from your email to tracking your vehicle in the app with ease.
Fixed: It may have been hard to see your password as you were typing it in on the login screen. Now, you'll always be able to check that you haven't added an extra character by accident.
