We made some updates to the pairing process to make it easier for you to see if the vehicle is already paired to another Locator or if the vehicle is currently at a sister location of your dealership.
You can now set the timezone of your location in the operating hours section on the Location overview page to ensure you get alerts and notifications when you want them.
You asked. We delivered. You can now see the status of a vehicle (paired/unpaired) and the date it was added to your dealership.

Updated Description for Theft Recovery Mode in the Web Apps - We have updated the description on the Theft Recovery card in the web app to better align with our immediate theft case activation and the expected reporting frequencies from the locator.

In addition to fixing an issue with enabling face or touch ID, users will now be able to enable face and touch ID directly within the native app. When they enable face or touch ID from their settings, they will be immediately prompted to enter their password, which will enable face or touch ID for all future logins. They will no longer need to log out and back in an additional time.

Improved Deep linking on iOS - We have updated the deep linking mechanism on iOS to more reliably route you into the native app instead of routing you to the app store.

Theft recovery mode notifications - When theft recovery is mode is activated, users will be notified via Push, Email, & SMS notifications. These notifications contain further instructions on how to get help and give them direct access to the theft recovery URL to share with law enforcement.
Notification configuration & robustness - While building out the theft recovery mode notifications, we have fleshed out notifications to be more easily configured and scaled to future notifications that we would like to implement. Users can disable email and SMS notifications from their app settings and disable push notifications in their phone settings.
“Update Required” pop-up - Previously, we have had no way to force users to update their app when they have been using out-of-date versions. We have introduced this functionality in the native app so that if we release any breaking changes in the future, we will be able to force them to update. Note: This is not a backward compatible feature, so we will not be able to force users to update who are using version released before Audi A3

We've improved the onboarding experience and made a few small improvements around the app.

We've added more informative error message when trying to create a new password. Now you'll know what you need to fix to keep your account secure with a strong password or if you made a typo confirming your password (don't worry, it happens to the best of us).

Fixed: If you opened the link in your invitation email, you may have had trouble navigating to the correct app. We've fixed this so you can go from your email to tracking your vehicle in the app with ease.
Fixed: It may have been hard to see your password as you were typing it in on the login screen. Now, you'll always be able to check that you haven't added an extra character by accident.
