Lot Management 3.6.0

January 30, 2022

Coming Soon!

What's New 🔥

  • Life happens, we get it. That’s why we’ve introduced the ability to replace a consumer locator directly from our sales page in this release.
  • We’ve given the billing dashboard a makeover. Users can now view the Service Fee, Charges, and Credits breakdown directly from the dashboard. We’ve also revamped the labelling on a few fields for clarity. Read all about it in our Billing Dashboard help page.
  • We hear you—invoicing can be a pain, but we’re making it simple. This release introduces a number of billing improvements, including unique IDs for all location invoices. We’ve also removed company-level invoices, as these are not used for billing. Instead, you'll see all of your locations' invoices at the company-level billing page. Company Admins and Billing Admins can now expect invoice emails at the start of each month.
  • Some things are too important to wait. Vehicle alerts are now available for two important vehicle states: Theft Recovery Mode and Low Locator Battery. If you’re curious on vehicle alert states generally, read more here.
  • Rarely do things fall into one of two neat little boxes. We’ve added five new vehicle and locator icons, for a grand total of seven icons, to better reflect the different states a vehicle or locator can enter. Now you can understand what your vehicles and locators are up to, on any occasion. Wanna know more? Check out our vehicle and locator icon help page.
  • We know seven icons is a lot to keep track of. We’ve also updated the vehicle and locator maps to include a map key with icon states, so you’re always in the loop.

Improvements

  • Company Admins can now delete vehicles from their inventory—with great power comes great responsibility.
  • When a dealer attempts to pair a locator that is marked as ‘Lost’, we now surface an intermediary screen that has them confirm they now have the locator before being able to proceed with pairing. You can never be too careful.
  • Sometimes things aren’t as simple as they seem. We've added a notes field to vehicles & locators for dealers to use.

Fixed

  • Some billing filters were refusing to cooperate. We’ve resolved that issue and some other minor filter bugs.

What's New 🔥

  • Breaking News! The billing dashboard is now available for all RecovR dealers. To get started, contact your RecovR representative to get access and read up on our guide to the billing dashboard & our guide to the new billing administrator add-on role. Company admins also have access to their RecovR contract at the company-level.
  • New and improved roles have been rolled out to all dealers. You spoke about how complicated it was to keep all of the old roles straight, so we simplified our approach. The new & improved roles are: Company Admin, Location Admin, Editor, & Viewer. Check out our overview to the new roles here.
  • Locator reconciliation for sales is now available. Dealers can now take an action against a Locator or sale with a "Lost" status and request its position. Depending on the position of the Locator, the status will update. Dealers can also request the position of unpaired locators in their inventory for easier inventory management. Want to learn more? Read our article on Managing Drive Offs.
  • Do you forget your password sometimes? Our newest update should help. You can now request a one-time access code to the email or phone number associated with your account to login to RecovR.
  • Ever walk to the location of a vehicle only to find out it's in motion? Well not anymore. We've updated the map icons to display two new states: In Motion & Approximate Position. This should help you better understand the location of every vehicle in your inventory.

Improvements

  • Stock number has been added to all vehicle cards
  • You wanted more data and we delivered. Tables will show 200 items instead of 100 items

Fixed

  • Some users were seeing an error when performing a location transfer. This has been resolved.
  • Partial search was being a bit finicky. We've given it a stern talking to and it should behave as expected
  • Some users were seeing "Sold with Low Battery" after a RecovR sale. We've fixed this issue.

Android Release 1.61.41

October 24, 2023

What's New

Vehicle Motion Alerts Improvement

Users can enable motion alerts regardless of the locator state. Before this release, users could only enable this is state 10 & 11.

Consumer Position Requests | Guide

When consumers request a position immediately after buying RecovR, they were getting an error that was difficult to understand. We’ve updated this error to be more intuitive and provide the reasoning behind the delay.

No Assets Empty State

When consumers log in to the native app, there are edge cases where they will see no assets. This can happen because:

  • A dealer voids their sale erroneously
  • A dealer adds the vehicle VIN back to their inventory via the VIN collision flow, de-permissioning a user

The new empty state helps inform the user that this problem can be fixed & provides a pre-filled message to support.
